Skills and Qualifications

• VET certificate (Registered as a veterinarian in Australia) is preferred

• At least 7 years' experience in managing dairy goats

• Knowledgeable of disease and injury treatment for milking goats Able to give treatment to Goats

• Trained in artificial insemination (prefer appropriate certification and experience)

• Knowledgeable in dairy goats’ requirement for nutrition’s and feeding

• Aware of standard for goats milking procedures Ability to motivate herd team

• Can participate in and implement - Animals’ production plan, Vaccination plan, Animals care plan, Feeding program,

• Biosecurity Systems and plans, Farm Good practice, Farm procedures and work instructions
